Welcoming our new graduates, Ben and Lynn to the company.

Since Rieke started the International Graduate Rotation Programme in 2015, two cohorts of graduates have been successfully integrated within the company. Now with the start of the new year, the third cohort of graduates have been introduced.

Working closely with the University of Birmingham, one of the leading universities in the UK, Rieke selected the newest team members from a wide and varied talent pool. Lynn Zhou and Ben Fleet joined Rieke in January of 2018 and will initially be based at the Leicester facility. Lynn holds a BSc degree in Finance and an MSc in International Business; Ben holds a BEng degree in Chemical Engineering.

Throughout the programme our graduates will rotate through a number of our global locations over a three year period. During this time they will work on a variety of different projects for several departments, aiming to provide them with a complete insight into working within a large manufacturing business with a global reach.

Suzanne Griffiths, Global VP of Human Resources, who led the graduate recruitment programme has stated how happy she is to have collaborated with the University of Birmingham to make this possible. “After introducing the first two cohorts of graduates to Rieke with great success, I am very pleased to welcome Ben and Lynn into the team and we are all very excited to see the positive impact that they will make here”.

The rotation programme will help Lynn and Ben develop core business skills by successfully working with our global teams and personnel in numerous roles. As well as increasing knowledge and experience in their degree disciplines, the graduates will also acquire key skills, competencies and behaviours and an understanding of different cultures that will help them prepare for future leadership opportunities within the company.

Upon completion of the programme the third cohort will be able to demonstrate an understanding of the four levers which drive success at Rieke: people, product, process and performance.
