At Rieke we believe in developing people and high performance teams.

As part of this strategy, we have implemented various programmes since 2015 for undergraduate and graduate students, in collaboration with the University of Birmingham. Rieke's Scholarship Programme for 2016-2017 has successfully come to an end. Part of the Programme was a 3-month internship in our office in Leicester, UK. We are pleased to introduce you to our two Scholars, Becky and Prudence, who contributed to our growth plans during this summer.

Becky Larry-Izamoje, from Nigeria, completed her BSc in Business Management this June and she will pursue an MSc degree starting in October. She was part of the finance team and assisted in day-to-day business transactions, liaised with customers and reconciled account statements to ensure growth in revenue and business profit overall. As Becky mentioned "In Rieke, there is always an opportunity to learn, grow, remain positive and achieve great results. The moments shape you, and the people encourage you to be the best version of you, that's what Rieke is about!"

Prudence Grace Lai, from Hong-Kong, is about to start her final year of the BSc in Business Management. She was working along with the Corporate Development team. She conducted market research, customer and competitor mapping and helped with additional projects regarding our strategic plans. Prudence noted "It has been an amazing experience working at Rieke for the summer. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I learnt so much from my supervisor and colleagues. The projects I worked on are fast-paced and interesting and I was given a lot of opportunities to develop my skills. It is truly empowering to know that the projects I worked on made an impact in Rieke!"

We wish them all the best with their future endeavours!
