Easy dispensing for Boots Derma Care

Boots selects the newly-launched 500ml wide bore Rieke Airless HVDS for Derma Care. The newly-launched 500ml wide bore version of Rieke Dispensing’s top-selling Airless HVDS has been selected by Boots Pharmaceuticals for its Derma Care Daily Moisturising Cream.

“For the Derma Care Daily Moisturising Cream we wanted the dry skin sufferer, who uses a lot of moisturiser, to have a large, quality pack that easily dispenses the cream, is durable and convenient to use in the home, as well as looking good on shelf,” explains Matthew Brook, Brand Manager Boots Pharmaceuticals. “Rieke’s 500ml wide bore Airless HVDS has delivered on all these points and is playing an important role in the successful range”.

Key requirements for the packaging were that it must be easy and convenient to use as well as creating on-shelf impact and appeal. As the cream was particularly viscous, easy and complete evacuation of the container was also essential.

The new wide bore Airless HVDS requires less shelf height space for the large capacity container and the wider design maximises on-shelf presence and creates effective product differentiation. The pack also offers excellent stability for controlled and accurate dispensing.
